Small Strawberries with Lemon

Ingredients

2 pints small berries, whole or halved, stemmed and hulled

1 lemon, zested and juiced

2 teaspoons sugar

A handful fresh mint leaves, torn or shredded

Directions

  1. Toss the berries with the lemon and sugar in a serving bowl. Let stand for a few minutes, then stir in the mint and serve.

Thank you Rachael!! My 9 year old who would rather grab something from the "candy" bowl LOVES this dish!! We pour the juice over bite size angel food cake and top with the strawberries...it's heavenly!!
