Despite its name, Fritz's Railroad Restaurant was originally a drive-in restaurant, but after founder Fritz Kropf designed and developed a food-delivery system that took on the look of a train, he adopted and enhanced the railroad theme. To wit, kids get their own paper engineer hat, there are several operating model trains chugging throughout the restaurant, and after you place your order by telephone, food is delivered directly to your table via an overhead train and elevator system.
