Brave the crowds inside the Marché des Enfants Rouges, the city’s oldest covered market, for a French cheeseburger that just might put its American counterparts to shame. Le Burger Fermier is part butcher shop, part burger restaurant. The meat comes from small farms in Picardy, the buns are made in-house, and there is an excellent selection of cheeses, including a tomme washed in hard cider that’s just slightly stinky, to perk up the beef.
