Tate's Bake Shop

Perhaps you've seen Tate's Bake Shop's cookies sold in your home-town. Well, it was in Southampton, N.Y., that founder and owner Kathleen King made her cookie debut. At this local favorite, cookies, cakes, brownies and squares vanish off the shelves in record time.

Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory

Michael Psilakis has tasted and served ice cream since his days at Carvel. But on The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Michael dreams about the nutty Butter Pecan Ice Cream at Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. With only eight flavors (served via cone, shake, split or sundae), each bite is simply delicious.

Trattoria Roman Garden

1 Reviews

A neighborhood favorite in Cleveland's Little Italy, Trattoria Roman Garden serves up authentic Italian food at reasonable prices. Enjoy the homey atmosphere with a mozzarella salad, the Shrimp & Gnocchi Trattoria, or the house special, Scallops Pesto with Linguini, which Rachael calls fabulous.

Located in the Coventry Village area of Cleveland, vegetarians and meat eaters alike will find something at Tommy's. They use the freshest ingredients around to create an organic menu of healthy and hearty dishes. Create your own omelet for breakfast, like Rachael, or stop by for a famous milkshake.

The Pierogi Palace

1 Reviews

Cleveland's historic West Side Market is also home to "the world's best" pierogies at The Pierogi Palace. When in Cleveland, a pierogi is a must, and Rachael couldn't resist. For $8.75 a dozen, you can sample all kinds of pierogies, with stuffings from potato to pistachio to pizza.

Home to the "biggest and best corned beef" sandwiches in town, this Cleveland institution is known for its mile-high sandwiches. Have yours on rye like Rachael or choose from 20 different ways to order your sandwich. Not looking for lunch? Slyman's also has an extensive breakfast and dinner menu.

Pigalle

This Parisian-style bistro in New York's Theater District serves classic French dishes that, according to Rachael, won't disappoint. Visit Pigalle for its weekend brunch, Tapas Tuesday menu or drinks in the cocktail lounge. Rachael called the special Champagne cocktail "dessert in a glass."

Noho Star

Check out new American and classic Chinese dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner at this casual spot. Rachael loved the "tangy" goat cheese-topped breakfast bruschetta and called it "a work of art." Look for weekday dinner specials featuring regional dishes such as cioppino and Maine lobster rolls.

Thalia

For a great go-to restaurant that's "one of the coolest places in the Theater District," according to Rachael, head to Thalia in New York City for brunch, lunch or a late-night dinner. Rachael recommends the brunch frittata, complete with a complimentary beverage and a basket of homemade bread.

Paymon's Mediterranean Cafe & Hookah Lounge

Need a break from the high energy of The Strip? Venture over to the Hookah Lounge to unplug and chill out in a Moroccan-inspired oasis. Order a hookah blend for the Turkish flavored tobacco pipes or savor a custom cocktail like their ginger, mango, coconut and rum-based Babylon Spice.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Dig into BBQ dishes with a kick at Cowgirl. Spike up the spice factor with the smoking-hot pulled pork sandwich, or indulge in the Five Pepper Nachos with Salsa Diablo (add brisket for extra decadence). The Frito Pie is also a standout, complete with Fritos, chili, sour cream, cheese and jalapenos.

Coyote Cafe

1 Reviews

Stop by Coyote Cafe for an upscale dinner or head outside to its sister restaurant, the Coyote Rooftop Cantina, for what Rachael calls "real Southwestern cuisine." Enjoy the warm Santa Fe, N.M., weather with tacos, enchiladas or a signature cocktail in the cantina's patio bar and dining area.

Cafe Pasqual's

The Huevos Barbacoa dish at Cafe Pasqual does the impossible for Chris Santos -- it makes him love eggs. Not typically an egg fan, Santos found the spicy, smoky dish made with succulent beef cheeks and sunny-side egg as nothing short of remarkable for this beloved Santa Fe restaurant.

<p>A favorite of Santa Fe, N.M., locals since 1953, The Shed serves up classic New Mexican cuisine in a family-friendly atmosphere. Try an order of enchiladas or the salmon salad for dinner and make sure to save room for their housemade desserts. Rachael called their fresh lemon souffle "heaven."</p>
