Roc

1 Reviews

Nothing can be as good as mom's for Rocco DiSpirito but the cavatelli with broccoli rabe and crumbled Italian sausage at Roc comes in a very close second. Roc excels in authentic Italian dishes, with a mastery over seafood like grilled octopus, fried calamari and the scrumptious tuna tartare.

Chef Rocco DiSpirito calls the Bacon-Wrapped Lamb Chops appetizer at Employees Only "the best one-bite wonder that you'll ever have." Swing by the charming speakeasy-style spot for top-notch artisanal cocktails and a mix of hearty entrees, like roast chicken and short ribs.

Tea & Sympathy

1 Reviews

On The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Robert Irvine counts his blessings for Tea & Sympathy's classic teatime Victoria Sandwich Cake made with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream. As a go-to shop for all foods British, they welcome all U.K. expats to join them for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Rice to Riches

Rice to Riches has converted many people over the years, including Hungry Girl Lisa Lillien, who called their rice puddings chilled perfection. Here, plain rice is welcome, but is only one of 20 flavors, including French Toast and Rocky Road. Choose from a dozen toppings like Cloud 9 Whipped Cream.

Resto NYC

Though Iron Chef Michael Symon is pork-obsessed, his favorite meat splurge comes in the form of goat. At Resto NYC, he finds not just a small shank, but instead a large-format feast of spring goat that includes such plates as goat tartare, succulent goat ribs and even braised goat soup.

Prune Restaurant

On The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Chris Cosentino gushes over Prune's superb pork skills (which include the intoxicating pork and marmalade sandwich). Prune continues crafting down-to-earth meals and drinks, like 10 varieties of Bloody Mary cocktails and the brunch favorite, a Dutch pancake with pears.

Mimi's Pizza & Restaurant

1 Reviews

In the sixth grade Bobby worked as a delivery boy for Mimi's Pizza & Restaurant and he still claims that they have the best pizza around town. Why the dough and sauce are so delicious will remain a mystery, but Bobby will always have fond memories of this place.

Called the modern-day Willy Wonka, Max Brenner makes crazy chocolate creations, such as chocolate martinis and chocolate mac & cheese. But Aarón Sánchez couldn't resist his Chocolate Pizza made with bananas, marshmallows and layers of chocolate, calling it a "match made in heaven."

Mesa Grill (New York City, NY)

Bet on Bobby Flay's classic Southwestern cuisine, like the Chipotle Glazed Rib-Eye with Red and Green Chile, at Mesa Grill in Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas, NV. Chef Michael Symon admitted he can't resist the Tiger Shrimp Roasted Garlic Corn Tamales here. Luckily, Mesa Grill is also in New York.

Gotham Bar and Grill

There's no better place to give thanks than Gotham Bar and Grill, according to Michael Psilakis. On The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Michael gushes over Alfred Portale's legendary cuisine, especially the four-course meal that starts with seared foie gras and finishes with juicy, slow-roasted turkey.

<p>It's hard to believe Levain Bakery's most popular cookie at all locations can be simultaneously fully cooked and melting on the inside with layers of chocolate chips. Rocco DiSpirito loves &mdash; no adores &mdash; the cookie, calling it "the most important chocolate experience you&rsquo;ll ever have in your life."</p>

Levain Bakery

It's hard to believe Levain Bakery's most popular cookie at all locations can be simultaneously fully cooked and melting on the inside with layers of chocolate chips. Rocco DiSpirito loves — no adores — the cookie, calling it "the most important chocolate experience you’ll ever have in your life."

Lady M Confections

The Mille Cake at Lady M. Confections took the cake world by storm when it was first introduced. Made by layering 20 crepes in between thick layers of creamy vanilla filling, these cakes come in lemon, coconut and even green tea. But for Ted Allen, a slice of the original is "simple and sinful."

For a real crunchy dish, Ted Allen skips the chips and opts for the crispy black bass at Le Bernardin. He suggests eating this dish at least once in your life, as Chef Eric Ripert is world-renowned for his mastery of seafood. From the caviar to the cobia, "the fish is the star of the plate" here.

Hotel Griffou

Indulge in the Venison Tartare at the historic Hotel Griffou in New York, NY, a former 1870's boarding house, whose guests included writers such as Mark Twain.

Hill Country Chicken

2 Reviews

Although Hill Country Chicken practices Texas-style cooking, they call NYC home. Lucky for Scott Conant, who can't get enough of their secret fried-chicken recipe so much so he calls it one of the best things he's ever eaten. For a more culinary adventure, try the fried pimento cheese sandwich.

On the Road with Guy

Host Guy Fieri driving his convertible down State Street in Santa Barbara, California, takes a cross-country road trip to visit some of America's classic "greasy spoon" restaurants - diners, drive-ins and dives - that have been doing it right for decades as seen on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
