Get ready to rock 'n' roll with Beau MacMillan’s favorite street food: H-100s. Unassuming at first, these giant tater tots will explode in your mouth. As the Season 1 winners of The Great Food Truck Race, Grill 'Em All took everyone for a ride with their tasty, in-your-face burgers.

Grill 'Em All Food Truck

Get ready to rock 'n' roll with Beau MacMillan’s favorite street food: H-100s. Unassuming at first, these giant tater tots will explode in your mouth. As the Season 1 winners of The Great Food Truck Race, Grill 'Em All took everyone for a ride with their tasty, in-your-face burgers.

The Gorbals

Chef Ilan Hall grew up kosher, meaning pork was a no-no. But as an adult, his bacon-wrapped matzoh balls have become the definition of delicious and sacrilegious, as verified by Rahm Fama. But Ilan doesn't stop there. How about roasted pig? Or popcorn gizzards? Or the fave: banh mi poutine.

WoodSpoon

The chicken pot pie at WoodSpoon isn't your typical pot pie. On The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Giada raves that this homey Brazilian meal is unbelievably tasty with olives, hearts of palm and juicy, tender chicken. For a mini version, try the coxinha, a yummy fried chicken croquette.

Schmidt's

Along with German specials like herbed spaetzle and boar bratwurst, Schmidt's serves a fragrant dish of apple strudel. Aida Mollenkamp adds the strudel to her "best thing ever" list for its buttery phyllo dough and golden raisins soaked in rum. As she says, "it's what dreams are made of."

Out The Door

For a fruity dish that's savory too, Chris Cosentino heads to Out the Door in San Francisco for the Green Papaya Salad. Made with unripe papaya, pickled carrots and Vietnamese mint, he says the salad is refreshing, crisp and perfect. Chris's tip: Order the rice porridge for some texture variety.

Nopa - San Francisco Gathering Place

Located north of the panhandle, as the name implies, Nopa is known for urban rustic food and organic wood-fired cuisine. As in many Bay-area spots, seasonal ingredients reign supreme here. Chef Aida Mollenkamp is a fan of the House Smoked Bacon Flatbread, topped with onions, garlic confit and cream.

Spread — CLOSED

5 Reviews

Spread's peanut butter may stick to the roof of Tyler Florence's mouth, but that doesn't stop him from calling the white chocolate pretzel peanut spread "insanity in a jar." What's true insanity is that Spread makes more than 15 different nutty spreads and a completely vegetarian menu to go with it.

Extraordinary Desserts

2 Reviews

The name Extraordinary Desserts says it all, but the proof is in the pudding. As one of the top pastry chefs in the country, Karen Krasne makes desserts that are decadent enough for magazine covers and have made many best-of lists. For Marcela Valladolid, the Dulce de Leche cake takes top honors.

Luna Park may have an elegant ambiance with a cocktail menu to match, but Sandra Lee loves Luna Park for its childish play on the classic s'more. Diners can stack their own s'mores with freshly baked graham crackers, rich chocolate ganache and your very own serving of pretoasted marshmallows.

Langer's Deli

1 Reviews

What can be said about Langer's Deli #19 Pastrami Sandwich that hasn't been said? Adam Gertler called it "sandwich perfection," Nora Ephron wrote it was "the finest hot pastrami in the world" and in 2001, Langer's was given a James Beard award. Surprisingly, the #19 calls L.A. -- not NYC -- home.

Warner Ebbink opened Little Dom's with the hopes it would become a neighborhood hangout, and so far, it definitely has. On The Best Thing I Ever Ate: Pizza, Adam Gertler heads to Little Dom's for their breakfast pizza that includes sunny-side up eggs cracked right on top.

Zankou Chicken

When Duff craves garlic he knows Zankou Chicken's got him covered. Since 1962, Zankou has been home to a menu filled with Mediterranean favorites such as falafel and shawerma. But for a real "whapoosh," Duff says to order the Half Chicken with a garlic sauce that's bold, yet super tasty.

Mr. Pollo

1 Reviews

No need to play chicken with Mr. Pollo. On The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Chris Cosentino calls the $15, 4-course tasting menu a perfect example of "bang before the buck." Every tasting menu is consistently delicious, especially the stuffed arepa tortilla packed to the seams with pork and cheese.

Valerie Confections

Sunny Anderson wanted to treat a friend to Valerie Confections' petit fours but instead, treated herself to Valerie's rose petal petit fours that were nothing short of an "edible orchestra." Valerie also makes symphonies with coffee cakes, toffees and even chili-infused chocolate truffles.

<p>If you order the Office Burger here, don't ask for ketchup or mustard &mdash; they're considered contraband. As Adam Gertler says, this decadent burger featuring a dry-aged beef patty, bacon marmalade, Gruy&egrave;re and blue cheese on French bread comes only one way, and that's "supremely delicious."</p>

On the Road with Guy

Host Guy Fieri driving his convertible down State Street in Santa Barbara, California, takes a cross-country road trip to visit some of America's classic "greasy spoon" restaurants - diners, drive-ins and dives - that have been doing it right for decades as seen on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives

Let Guy take you on a coast-to-coast tour Friday at 9|8c.
