Four athletes, Brandi Chastain, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Greg Louganis and Charles Oakley, bring their fierceness and passion to the Chopped Kitchen for the premiere competition of a five part $50,000 Tournament of Stars. With the charities they are competing for in their minds, they open the first basket to find a scary ingredient: alligator. Then in the entree round, the celebs must cook with strange eggs and tiny limes. The two sports stars who make it to the dessert round put their athleticism and enthusiasm into making great final dishes that include crystallized ginger and wafer cookies.

When the baskets get tough, the Chopped judges get cooking! In round one Marcus Samuelsson, Scott Conant and Amanda Freitag must use their noodles to make the most of fresh pasta dough. Chumminess and yumminess abound in round two when the judges take on a newlyweds-themed dessert basket featuring cheese and cake and Ted Allen asks the chefs some intimate questions. In round three, Marc Murphy, Alex Guarnaschelli and Scott get cracking on some succulent lobster tail and fresh star fruit from the Star Power finale, and the judges get a taste of the limelight as they're mobbed by paparazzi mid-round.

Guy makes the chefs flip a coin to determine whether they use the high- or low-priced ingredients in their family-favorite noodle dish. After each all-star picks a canned item to use in a spicy noodle dish, they learn Hunter has pulled a switcheroo on them. The chef with the highest combined score after two rounds gets a shot at winning up to $20,000 on the GGG Money Wheel.

The all-star with the best dish wins $10,000, while the bottom two chefs fight for their survival in the checkout round. The chef who makes the best steakhouse dinner -- despite the restrictions dictated by the dreaded food pyramid -- will stay in the tournament.
