In this third preliminary round of the Teen Tournament, Hannah, Brandon, Tommi Rae and Max are battling for a place in the finale, where they'll have a chance to win $25,000 in prize money, a coveted culinary school scholarship worth $40,000 and the title of champion.

The dishes must include rabbit and ginger sausage, dandelion greens, dried currants and hot-sauce-flavored candy canes.

"I am super excited to prove that teens can do anything adults can do, especially in the Chopped kitchen," says Hannah. Off the bat she knows which direction she's going in, deciding to make flatbreads. But she has trouble rolling out the dough, so she settles on making them freeform.

"I want to bring China to Chopped," says Max of his decision to turn the sausage into wontons. He smartly blanches the dandelion greens to extract the bitterness before tossing them with vinaigrette and orange peel he candied himself — something Alex Stupak finds very impressive. "I don't think I know that now," retorts Alex Guarnaschelli.
