Directions

  1. Slice bread into 1-inch thick slices. Stack several slices and cut slices into 1-inch bars, then cut bars crosswise into 1-inch cubes. Repeat with remaining slices. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium low heat. Add bread cubes and stir around well. Let cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until golden, about 5 to 10 minutes. Let cool slightly and add to salad while tossing.
