Fritos and chili are both Texas icons, and when you combine the two, you’ve got magic. This dish, also known as the Walking Taco, is the ultimate portable snack: You slice open a bag of Fritos, then add chili and toppings directly into the bag. True Texans will go with an all-beef chili—no beans allowed!
NEW: You can now switch to Cook Mode to keep your screen awake.
Directions
Warm 2 cups chili in a saucepan. Cut a slit down the front of six 1-ounce bags of corn chips and tear open. Divide the chili among the bags. Top with sour cream, shredded cheddar and sliced pickled jalapeños.
