Strive for excellence, just like Julia! Four chefs arrive to compete in a tournament that celebrates the major impact that Julia Child made on the culinary world. They'll have to be bold and creative as they take baskets inspired by Julia's recipes and make them uniquely their own. Some citrus and a salad are part of the puzzle in the appetizer round, and the three chefs who make it to the entrée round must make use of some unusual powder and fancy mushrooms. Then, they'll do their best with beets in the dessert round. The winner of this battle will advance to the tournament's finale, where a $25,000 dream trip is at stake.

Julia Child was a chef, instructor, author and legend! Even today she influences modern chefs to achieve greatness and push themselves to be their best. In this competition, four Julia Child fans compete in a preliminary battle with baskets inspired by Julia's recipes. Creativity will have to blossom when the chefs find a blooming onion in the first basket. A French pastry in the entrée basket looks delicious, but the chefs will have to make it work with duck. Then for dessert, the two remaining competitors endeavor to make sweet desserts with a Bitter Frenchman cocktail. The winner will advance to the tournament's finale, where they'll fight for a $25,000 Julia Child-themed dream trip to France!

Three awesome food truck teams are rolling into Flavortown Market to show off the food that made their trucks a hit. First, Guy Fieri challenges the teams to cook their bestseller, but they must incorporate instant coffee and doughnuts into the recipe. In a surprise twist, the team that wins round one gets an automatic $10,000 and the chance to take on GGG champs and food truck icons the Billionaire Burger Boyz. In round two, the teams must divide and conquer as each partner shops a different half of the store for the ingredients to make their secret menu special. Whoever wins this off-the-hook showdown will claim a guaranteed $10,000!

Alcohol is not just a fun meal pairing, it's also a super flavorful ingredient to cook with! Mary Berg shakes things up with Wine Can Chicken that's cooked with a cocktail of dry white wine, lemon and herbs inside the bird and served with a wilted green, creamy sauce. For another boozy meal, Mary's Roast Pork with Red Wine Grape Sauce uses a dry red to complement the garlic and grainy mustard marinade. For dessert, Mary cracks open a cold one to craft a Chocolate Stout Cake. The bitter beer combined with chocolate is a recipe for delicious decadence. She tops it off with an Irish cream buttercream and a drizzle of salty-sweet Beer Caramel Sauce. Cheers!

19th-Century Holiday Feast

Guy Fieri's chef friends visit the ranch to prepare a 19th century-style holiday meal inspired by roast goose, figgy pudding and Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Marc Murphy starts it off with a stiff pumpkin eggnog and a delectable roasted squash with sage, ricotta and pomegranate. He also roasts a whole fish in a crusted salt shell. Alex Guarnaschelli makes a cheesy potato-turnip gratin and roasts grapes for succulent black pepper-crusted chicken. Michael Voltaggio's tangy sausage balls are inspired by his mother's recipe, and he elevates simple asparagus with a rich mousseline sauce. Finally, Jonathan Waxman prepares dishes that would make any Scrooge smile: a pastry-encased Salmon Coulibiac and a crepe souffle dessert.
