Aidan's favorite part of baking is being able to eat his own creations. "It's edible art," he says of his masterful confections. Aidan is bringing his own unique flair to the competition and wants to make each dish not just a dessert but an experience.

Audra

When she's not whipping up sweets in the kitchen, Audra enjoys vacationing with her family and hanging out with her friends, and she's a big fan of karaoke. She's not worried about the pressure of competition, because her nerves only push her toward making better desserts. What else does Audra enjoy eating besides her own sweet treats? Brussels sprouts!

Brooke

When she was 2 years old, Brooke started baking with her grandmother. Now she owns her own short-order baking business, and one of her favorite desserts to make is Key lime pie. "Baking is a way for me to express my mind," Brooke says.

Charlotte

Charlotte has several interests: riding horses, reading, fashion design and, of course, baking. One of her favorite desserts to make is her mixed lattice pie, and she loves her heart-shaped, neon-green measuring cups. The baking competition might be stiff, but Charlotte isn't worried. "Pressure usually brings out the best in me," she says.

Cole

Cole started baking when he was 2 years old, and now he's entering the competition looking for a challenge. His specialty is decoration and plating, and his favorite dessert to make is his chocolate cake. His most-impressive creation: a five-layer chocolate volcano cake complete with dry ice "smoke."

Dylin

If he's not practicing his archery skills or making videos of his interesting sandwich creations (think smoked ham, Nutella and mayonnaise), Dylin can probably be found baking dog and cat treats, a business he runs with his older sister. He wants to prove that baking isn't just for girls — and that he's a better baker than his big sister.

Jason

Jason's super into science, so it's no surprise that he picked up an interest in the chemistry of baking. He already has a restaurant internship under his belt, and he's coming to the competition with his best dessert recipe in his back pocket: blueberry pie.

Justice

Justice has been baking on his own since he was 10 years old, but he started baking with his mom when he was even younger. His favorite dessert to make is peach pie, but he also enjoys making cinnamon rolls every year on his birthday. When he's not baking, he can usually be found talking about meteorology, seismology, geology or geography.

Kaniyah

A self-described girly girl and tomboy, Kaniyah loves to dance (hip-hop, jazz, ballet and tap), play basketball, get her nails done and stay up late. "Sleep is for party poopers," she says. Kaniyah loves baking so much that she even runs her own cupcake business. "When I make other people treats, it's like Jesus giving me a hug," she says.

Keili

For Keili, baking is all about trying new things. "I like experimenting, because you never know what you're going to get," she says. She's even tried her hand at the new trend of "impostor" desserts, making "sushi" with marshmallow rice treats. Pie, however, will always be her specialty.

Maya

Maya calls herself a "mad scientist in the kitchen," because baking is just edible chemistry. When she's not baking her favorite dessert, apple pie, Maya plays the violin and spends time with her two cats and new dog.

Reese

Reese learned to bake from his mom, but there's more to this Cub Scout than his baking prowess. Reese plays football and soccer, but soccer's his favorite. He also swims, and he's quite the craftsman — he has a talent for weaving duct-tape wallets.
