Over-the-Top Wedding Cake Bakers
From flour to fondant, these baking duos are known for their spectacular cake designs, but which team has the skills and artistry to put them a tier above the rest?
Cara & Dana — Fort Myers, FL
“We call ourselves the Cake Broads, because we’re both Italian, and we specialize in over-the-top, extraordinary wedding cakes with bold flavors," Dana said.
"And we're always keeping it sassy," Cara added.
Cory & Leila — Vancouver
"Pur cakes have the cute, quirky, creative ideas," Cory said.
"We've been in a cake decorating magazine. Our competitors should be very afraid," Leila said.
"We get pretty competitive," Cory added.
Robin & Shelby — Houston
Robin and Shelby are a mother/daughter baking and decorating duo. “I do the baking and Shelby does the creating," Robin said.
Erik & Traci — Greensboro, NC
“We’ve been married and baking together for 8 years," Traci said. "He’s my best friend with benefits.”
"Like taking out the trash," Erik joked.
Ebonie & Courtney — Atlanta
“We make cakes for some of Atlanta’s elite from celebrities, politicians, athletes," Courtney said.
“We bring the wow factor to every cake that we put out hands on," Ebonie added.
Hemu & Ida — Katy, TX
Hemu is originally from India and Ida is from Indonesia. “We do huge wedding cakes, and we started taking part in a lot of cake competitions and got first place in all of them," Hemu said.
