Häagen-Dazs Holiday Treats Are All About Peppermint Bark
Wait. HOW is it candy-cane season already?!
Time moves quickly. One minute it’s pumpkin spice season and the next it’s all about peppermint. Häagen-Dazs has made candy-cane season seem super close (wait … is it already here?) by releasing its new holiday dessert collection.
The newly released collection, which will be available in Häagen-Dazs Shops through December 31, features with four desserts built around Häagen-Dazs beloved Peppermint Bark ice cream, a seasonal flavor already available in grocery stores (also through December 31) and which the ice cream maker describes as “a holiday classic” with “rich white chocolate ice cream … blended with crunchy chocolaty peppermint bark and peppermint candy pieces.” (Additionally available in supermarkets this season are limited-edition Häagen-Dazs Peppermint Bark Ice Cream Bars, which the company describes as “decadent white chocolate ice cream, dipped in thick, dark chocolate, then speckled with cool peppermint candy pieces.”)
The quartet of holiday treats at Häagen-Dazs Shops also features Peppermint Bark ice cream in many forms: There’s a Peppermint Bark Shake (a shake made with Peppermint Bark ice cream, topped with a whipped cream and crushed peppermint bits), a Peppermint Bark Dazzler Sundae (peppermint bark ice cream, hot fudge and chocolate cookie pieces, topped with whipped cream, cookie crunch and crushed peppermint bits), a Peppermint Bark Dipped Waffle Cone (a chocolate-dipped waffle cone rolled in crushed peppermint bits), and a Peppermint Bark Brownie Cookie Sandwich (a scoop of peppermint bark ice cream smushed between two brownie cookies and then rolled in peppermint bits), all priced around $7 or $8.
And if all that isn’t decadent enough, Haagen-Dazs is sweetening the deal on Black Friday. If you buy a Peppermint Bark Dazzler Sundae on November 29, you’ll get a free mini-cup or cone.
A double dose of ice cream after all that gift shopping? That’s definitely our idea of holiday self-care.
