Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped dill
  • 3 tablespoons seasoned salt
  • 2 bags bagel chips

Directions

In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, green onions, mayonnaise, parsley, dill, and seasoned salt.

Serve with bagel chips.

    Use your own judgment with the seasoning. I didn't follow the recipe in this regard. I also used low fat mayo and sour cream to lessen the fat content. If you season it to taste, it's a really good dip - great with raw vegetables.

    As written this dip contains more than the recommended daily allowance of sodium for an entire day. My seasoning salt says 1/4 teaspoon is a serving so 3 tablespoons, which is 36 times that amount, is far too much.

    or, better still, half a packet of italian dressing mix. It has xanthum gum (a thickener so be sure to add a splash of milk as well. Really nice dip.
