The Best Brand-New Holiday Cookies to Make With Us This Year
2020 has been the year of baking — that's for sure. But the best baking season is now upon us, and we're so excited it's time for 12 Days of Cookies again.

We've baked a lot this year. Maybe you made sourdough bread in March. Or a garden focaccia in the spring. And we bet you found something to bake with the many apples you picked this fall. But now the coziest, most festive baking season is here — and we could not be more excited to get back into our aprons.
Each year, we bring you 13 brand-new cookie recipes for our annual 12 Days of Cookies package (day 13 is a bonus cookie!). And this year we're spreading the cookie joy even more, with live classes highlighting the recipes on the Food Network Kitchen app. Here are five cookies in this year's batch that you can make, share or even ship this month — and bake with us LIVE! Tap "remind me" in the app so you don't miss a class. And get the rest of the recipes in our 12 Days of Cookies line-up here.

Vallery Lomas's Butterscotch Blondies
Salty-sweet baked goods always have people coming back for more, and this bar cookie just might be the pinnacle of this flavor combo. Browned butter, white chocolate chips, pecans, dried cranberries and a butterscotch drizzle pack a ton of flavor and texture into each bite.

Food Network Kitchen's Slice-and-Bake Italian Rainbow Cookies
If you crave the almond and jammy flavors of these traditionally cakey, layered cookies, but would love to simplify the process, this is the cookie for you. It reimagines the Italian-American delight as a slice-and-bake sugar cookie that gets a quick dip in chocolate spiked with raspberry extract.
