You can opt for two different options for glazing that are quicker: Dip the tops of the cookies into the glaze, allowing the excess to drip off before placing them glaze-side up on a baking sheet (this may take an additional 15 minutes to set). Or you can use a pastry brush to brush the glaze on each cookie (this glaze will be thinner and may take less time to set). When measuring flour, we spoon it into a dry measuring cup and level off excess. (Scooping directly from the bag compacts the flour, resulting in dry baked goods.)
