Hershey’s New Kiss Is About to Make Your Holiday Cookies So Meta

And luckily for us, Hershey’s is delivering a new Kiss to its lineup this year – one that’s about to pack double the holiday spirit into your next weekend baking project.
Beginning in October, Hershey’s Sugar Cookie Kisses will hit store shelves nationwide. The chocolate morsels will be wrapped in their classic silver tin foil – but decorated with a colorful array of ornaments. And the Kiss itself is just as cute. The candy is comprised of a sugar cookie-flavored creme with actual red and green cookie pieces sprinkled throughout each bite. And yep – it tastes just like a sugar cookie! So you can get your holiday fix fast, no baking required.
But on the days you do want to bake? The Kisses are the ingenious topper to a seriously meta experience. Try baking a batch of your favorite sugar cookies in the shape of peanut butter blossoms and lo and behold: you’ve got yourself a holiday cookie that’s different – yet oh-so-familiar. That’s right. You’ll be biting into a sugar cookie topped sugar cookie that’s shaped like a peanut butter blossom.

In addition to the Sugar Cookie kisses, Hershey’s is bringing back fan-favorite Hot Cocoa Kisses, so you can sip on hot cocoa-infused hot cocoa, too.

And moving from the meta to the literal, the candy company is also giving us a Reese’s White Elephant. No, not a gag gift – an elephant-shaped Reese’s wrapped in white chocolate. Now that, along with the rest of Hershey’s holiday collection, is a gift you might just want to keep for yourself!
