As in the prelim battles, the chefs will have a choice to gamble away an ingredient before each round, and the $25,000 jackpot will get higher or lower depending on the champs' good or bad fortune. At Fry or Fly Fest in Nashville, it's time for the six candidates to impress Guy Fieri, the judges and the festival crowd with the creativity, flavors and execution in their tents. There are some big hits and a few misses, but overall, Guy is impressed with how much the candidates have learned and how far they're willing to go for the keys to a Chicken Guy! franchise, but he's still not sure who deserves them. He decides to issue one more challenge: The candidates have to prep the new Nashville Chicken Guy! for its grand opening. Guy has a heart-to-heart with each candidate and struggles with the decision, but in the end, only one can fly and win.

In thw two hour, over-the-top finale, hosts and judges Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman ask the youngest final three bakers in the history of the show to make a championship-worthy, two-tiered cityscape cake that captures the quintessential sights of an assigned iconic city: San Francisco, New York City or Washington D.C. In the end, one baker emerges as Kids Baking Champion, winning a spot in Food Network Magazine and $25,000.

For the final week in boot camp, the remaining recruits must put their newfound knowledge to use in the real world by foraging for produce at a rooftop farm. Then they have to create unique dishes with a curated box of farm-fresh ingredients. Chefs Anne Burrell and Cliff Crooks teach their final two recruits how to make a three-course, restaurant-quality meal, and the finalists must draw on all of their new culinary skills to impress a panel of culinary experts. Judges Matt Abdoo, Kwame Onwuachi and Millie Peartree sample the recruits' dishes in a blind taste test and determine the winner of the $25,000 prize.
