  1. Stir together the gin and vermouth in a small pitcher or measuring cup. Pour half the mixture into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into 2 martini glasses and garnish with a lemon twist or an olive. Repeat with the remaining gin and vermouth to make 2 more martinis.
