Hallowedding

It's bridal season for Halloween lovers and since bridal showers often have petit fours, the bakers are creating "petit horrors" in the pre-heat challenge. In the main heat, it's time for a Halloween wedding! Each happy couple -- vampire and troll, werewolf and mummy, skeleton and robot, witch and goblin, zombie and ghost -- gets a unique Halloween wedding cake.

Filled With Surprises

In the kick-off pre-heat, eight bakers must show off their decorating skills by creating Halloween candy-filled cookies. For the main heat, it's oozy fun with sublime slime desserts: bakers can make any treat, but it must be filled with a gooey slime that leaks out when cut open!

Monster Mania

A monster has ransacked the kitchen and is on the loose! The bakers work together in the pre-heat challenge to create a 3-D suspect sketch out of pate a choux to help track him down. The sketch helps puts the monster behind bars but now he's hungry for the main heat challenge that involves monster-sized Halloween deserts like giant cupcakes, pies, cream puffs and more.

The Candyman Cometh

In the pre-heat, the four remaining bakers attempt to make desserts that taste like their favorite candy bars. For the main heat, the bakers face death by chocolate and must create a dessert that combines chocolate with odd ingredients. One baker is eliminated and the last three move on to the finale.

Hidden Halloween Horrors

The competition begins with a deliciously difficult pre-heat as the eight Halloween bakers weave spider web desserts with creatures trapped inside. In the main heat, wily witch hunter John Henson challenges the bakers to create melting desserts that reveal a Halloween item inside.

Friendsgiving

To highlight Friendsgiving, host Jesse Palmer asks the remaining 10 bakers to create flavor friends desserts designed to make a seasonal flavor pairing shine. Then, the bakers are divided into two teams for the ultimate fall flavor showdown as they take on apple vs. pumpkin desserts in an all-out effort to settle the debate for judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Nancy Fuller.

Yule Be Merry

It's bottoms up for judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall as the 10 bakers team up to take on a boozy desserts preheat. In the main heat, host Jesse Palmer challenges the competitors with five different styles of yule log cakes in 10 different flavor combinations. In the end, one baker leaves the competition.

Holiday Rush

With the holidays fast approaching, host Jesse Palmer gets into the Hanukkah spirit by asking the bakers to create ugly sweater cakes using halvah as a featured ingredient. Then, the competitors feel the holiday rush as they quickly transform a basic store-bought cake into a tasty centerpiece for a dessert table. Finally, the bakers face the final crunch with a fast holiday decoration: a snowman croquembouche. When the flour settles, one competitor heads for the exit as judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall send the remaining bakers to the finale!

Festive Bread Wreaths

Host Jesse Palmer kicks off the competition by challenging 12 bakers to make holiday decorated quick bread wreaths with assigned flavors. Judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall decide which baker will be at the top of the naughty or nice list and which baker will be eliminated.

Snowed In Sweets

Host Jesse Palmer asks the remaining eight bakers to make desserts representing snow-day activities like cutting out snowflakes, sledding, or snowshoeing. Plus, since the holidays are all about giving, Jesse offers the most recent winning team a difficult choice between two nice or naughty gifts -- a 15-minute head start or stealing a baker from the other team! Judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller, and Kardea Brown decide which baker from the losing team is eliminated.
