How to Make Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches — Kids Baking Championship
Get inspired by the show's baking challenge to create this unique dessert.
Pipe 3 1/2-inch circles of macaron batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Use this recipe, or your favorite.
Bake the macarons until crispy, then let cool on a rack.
Lay a pint of ice cream on its side on a cutting board. Use a serrated knife to slice the pint.
Slice the pint into four sections.
Snip the paper and peel it away from each slab of ice cream.
Use a spatula to scoop the ice cream slabs onto the macarons.
Then top with another macaron.
Voila!
