Before he became the princely half of perhaps the most-talked-about couple of 2018, Prince Harry was known to be quite the party guy. But since finding love with Meghan Markle, Harry seems to be changing his ways. In an extra-romantic gesture of solidarity, the Duke of Sussex has decided to give up alcohol and caffeine during Meghan's pregnancy.

“Considering he’s been a pretty brutal drinker since he was a young teenager, it’s quite an achievement,” an insider told the UK’s Express.

Of course, there’s been no official palace statement to this effect, but Prince Harry was observed drinking water rather than wine at a palace state dinner this past fall.

And if you thought being a Britich royal must involve afternoon tea, think again. Prince Harry is also giving up caffeine during Meghan's pregnancy. A source quoted by Express says his friends have noticed that Harry has been “more chilled and relaxed,” and credit Meghan with the new and improved version of the prince.

“All she did was show him there’s another way to live and he’s become a huge fan,” the source says. “He eats well, doesn’t poison his body, exercises, does a bit of yoga and is a lot happier.”

This is actually not the first time that Prince Harry has changed his unhealthy habits under Meghan’s influence. In the months leading up to their May 2018 wedding, Meghan put the prince on a diet that included cutting back on alcohol, carbs and meat, and eating more fresh fruits and veggies.
