Ingredients

8 chai tea bags
1 cup whole milk
1/3 cup honey
Ice cubes

Directions

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the bags, stir in the milk and honey and chill in a pitcher for at least 1 hour. Serve over ice.

This recipe is pretty simple and a pretty good to boot! And to Susanne, Bobby does use chai tea bags in the episode. The... part you're referring to is when he was explaining what chai tea is. Traditionally, all chai really is is black tea with added spices and flavors. In the episode, Bobby was only reading the spices from the back of the chai box. The recipe that is online here is the recipe he uses on the episode. Hope that clears things up!Read more

I watched this episode and I believe I remember Bobby adding some spices that were not listed in the recipe on line. I... realize it says chai tea bags but he actually used black tea and then added the spices. I would rather have that recipe, I guess I'll have to wait for the episode to air again.Read more

I love Chai tea but not made from this recipe.
