Apple Pie Cranberry Sauce

1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries

2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

¾ cup packed brown sugar

½ cup golden raisins

1 teaspoon apple pie spice

¼ teaspoon salt


  1. In a large saucepan, combine all of the ingredients with 1 cup water. Bring to a boil over high heat then reduce the heat to simmer, stirring occasionally, just until the cranberries burst, about 8 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and cool to room temperature.
