Preheat the oven to 230 degrees F.
Start by combining the salt, garlic, onion powder, black pepper and rosemary.
Then thoroughly coat the whole roast with the dry rub. Next place your room temperature seasoned roast onto a rack set in a roasting pan.
Pour the beef broth into bottom of the roasting pan. Place everything into oven and roast for 5 hours.
When finished set the roast aside for 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
