This might just be the easiest cake you’ll ever make. With just three ingredients — a jar of cookie butter, a banana and an egg — you can whip up a quick treat that bakes into something between a blondie and a snacking cake. This lightly sweet dessert has warm spice notes and a soft texture — perfect for when you want something homemade with very little effort.

Directions
Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment, leaving a 2-inch overhang. Mash 1 ripe banana in a large bowl; stir in 1 egg. Mix in one 14.1-ounce jar (about 1 1/2 cups) cookie butter. Spread in the pan. Bake at 350 degrees F until a toothpick comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool 20 minutes, then remove to a rack. Cut into squares.
