Add ingredients to tall ice-filled tumbler. Top with soda or seltzer. Garnish with mint leaves and orange wheel.
GINGER SYRUP: Ginger syrup is simple syrup infused with fresh peeled ginger. Take equal parts water and sugar and add a 1 inch piece sliced, heated with the sugar and water while they are being melted together. Allow to steep together for a few hours while cooling, then remove the ginger and refrigerate.
