Guy Fieri brings back three pairs of rival chefs who previously faced off one-on-one. First, two budget-brawlers settle the score in a round that has them shopping for ingredients under $5 for their family dinners. Next, a couple of food scientists face-off in a game that forces them to shop for their dishes in either the odd or even aisles. The final round brings back two Flavortown all-stars for an exact recreation of their first matchup. The winner of each round wins ultimate bragging rights and a guaranteed $5,000.
Athletes aren't the only ones competing in epic international games this year. Guy Fieri invites eight all-star masters of world cuisines to compete in a five-part GGG Global Games for a $50,000 grand prize! After dividing the chefs into two groups, Guy asks Group A to make their best international street food that must also include a Red Torch Special: pumpernickel bread. Then, the two least successful chefs battle for survival, making their best rice dish using 10 ingredients or less. One chef moves on, the other leaves the Games.
Now that all her kids are grown and gone, Ree Drummond can downsize dinner. It's a magnificent meal, perfect for two empty nesters.
This week at Charm City Cakes truly comes full circle. A couple from Season Two, who had the bakery make a cake for their engagement, are back and this time their getting married. The wedding cake will be a four-tiered asymmetric blue and white cake, and the groom s cake is the Hoya mascot from Georgetown. Our second cake is truly an original. A stack of French toast with a French mouse popping out of it in a beret of all things, a mime shirt, and a cigarette in his mouth.
The final two teams go head-to-head at a San Diego brewery where they must sell a dish based on the other team's signature menu item. After tasting a flight of craft beer, the teams create new specials to sell as a paring to brewery patrons. Next, Tyler Florence and Chef Ruffo Ibarra challenge the trucks to cook with the hottest chilies in the world. Both teams pull out all the stops, but only one team is awarded the $50,000 and crowned winner of the hottest season ever!
