In the third installment of Guy Fieri's Family Face-Off, two food-driven couples battle to win the prize -- and stay out of the spouse doghouse! In round one, each team has to combine their favorite dishes into a cohesive meal. Guy and his son Hunter also cook along with their own hybrid dish. Then Guy puts the teams' relationships to the test in an unforgettable "Newlyfed" Game where every correct answer equals one less whammy ingredient in their romantic dinner. The teams will fight for love, $10,000 and a chance to make it into the finale.
Guy Fieri invites four of GGG's greatest chef competitors to the grand reopening of Flavortown Market for a two-part $25,000 tournament! In Part 1, the chefs have one hour to create two courses -- an appetizer and a goat entree -- and they must use a grocery list highlighting all the new store sections, including the butcher counter and deli manned by Guy's son Hunter. The judges score the chefs' appetizers using the all-new Flavortown Scoreboard. To finish their goat entrees, the chefs must first shop for one more item that starts with a G, O, A or T, and the chef with the lowest score doesn't make it to the finale.
Fire station cooks commandeer Flavortown Market, and they'll have to stand the heat when Guy Fieri hits them with his alarming games. First, they must make a spicy firehouse favorite featuring the mandatory ingredients they pick up in a three-alarm fire sale. Then, they have to go upscale when they're ordered to "cook for your captain" after picking a pail of mandatory whammy ingredient in a crazy game of bucket brigade. Ultimately, the firefighter that smokes the competition will get a shot at winning up to $20,000!
The GGG Global Games continue as four masters of world cuisines take on Guy Fieri's twisted challenges. First, the chefs must make their best international fried dish that also includes this week's Red Torch Special: Haitian peanut butter! The bottom two chefs must then fight for survival by preparing their best noodle dish while doing some weight training -- they can only use 8 pounds of ingredients. The losing chef is eliminated from competition, while the winner joins the five other chefs still in the running for the Global Games $50,000 prize.
Four chefs who fell short of victory their first time around are back to cook a redemption dinner, but first, the dreaded Food Pyramid selects the whammy item, piece of equipment and the odd or even aisles the chefs must shop to succeed. Meanwhile, Guy Fieri goes behind the scenes to reveal Flavortown secrets, including the workings of this real deal grocery store inside a sound stage. Ultimately, one chef will win redemption and finally get the chance to shop Flavortown Market for up to $20,000.
Guy Fieri invites all-star chefs Maneet Chauhan, Christian Petroni, Adam Sobel and Stephanie Izard for a pizza showdown that's hard to top! First, the elite pie makers must serve up a pizzeria combo plate using only the grocery items they can carry on a pizza paddle in one trip. Then, the chefs must stretch their cash more than their dough to prepare two budget battle pizzas, one savory and one sweet. The winning pizza maestro will shop Flavortown Market for up to $20,000.
Four past GGG winners are vying for an instant $10,000 and the last spot in the Supermarket Masters Tournament finale. First, they must make a high-end, old-school dinner that includes the mish-mash of ingredients on Guy's Grocery List. Next, the chefs race against the clock to make a super sandwich and side in just 15 minutes. Then, the last two chefs pick wild cards to determine the international cuisine and comfort dish they must combine to make their finest fusion dish.
Guy Fieri's All-Star Family Face-Off culminates in an epic two-round battle with three families competing at home. In round one, the teams have to cook a family noodle dish while handcuffed to one another. Then Guy and his son Hunter pull out an old GGG favorite game to decide the mandatory ingredients for the teams' winning dishes. Only one team will be crowned the All-Star Family Face-Off Champions and win a chance to spin the Money Wheel.
For the first game, Guy gives the chefs a very small budget to create big, tasty grilled cheese sandwiches for four. Then the chefs are challenged creatively when they make unusual desserts from the ingredients in the meat, seafood and dairy aisle. The final two chefs shop the aisles to make their best Holiday celebration meal, but Guy swaps their bags of ingredients. Quick thinking and serious skills will send one chef on a $uper $hopping $pree with an extra holiday surprise!
Guy Fieri invites teams of chef-siblings to compete in two games that will push their sibling bonds to the limit. First, the teams must decide which items from Guy's sample tables they want to feature in their family dinner. Then, he asks the duos to make a decadent dish while throwing them a curve ball that will have them rethinking their strategy. Ultimately, one sibling pair will pull it all together to win a shopping spree worth up to $20,000.
