Dessert Rivals

In the grand tradition of dessert rivalries, hosts and judges Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman divide the 10 kid bakers into two teams for a good old-fashioned chocolate vs. peanut butter throwdown. To up the stakes, the winner of the challenge will earn immunity from elimination for their entire team! After the dust settles, one baker from the losing team is eliminated.

Candymonium

To celebrate candy in all its glory, the five remaining kid bakers must use three types of candy in a dessert but also keep it balanced, because it's a fine line between candymonium and candy overload!

Party in the Sky

What's that beautiful arc of color in the sky? It's a rainbow! For this challenge, Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman task the 10 young bakers with working in teams to create vibrant and dazzling cupcake rainbows.

Puppy Treats

The competition has gone to the dogs! Supercute puppies, to be exact. To celebrate Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet, Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman pair each of the six bakers with an adorable, adoptable puppy and challenge them to create a cake that reflects their puppy's happy life after adoption on his or her first birthday.

Macaron Stackaron

The French macaron is the new cupcake, so the seven remaining kid bakers must take on this extremely demanding dessert, producing three dozen colorful macarons and stacking them to at least five inches high.

Lunch Box Desserts

The six remaining kid bakers get creative as they invent lunch box desserts. The good news? Trading items is allowed. The bad news? Carrot sticks are tough to work into a dessert!

Eclairs Gone Wild

Time to hop on the "Eclairis Wheel" as the nine remaining kid bakers take on a sweeping new trend in baking: the radically elevated and decorated eclair. This cream-filled challenge will test the young bakers to the max!

Comfort Food Dessert Imposters

The most beloved challenge of all pulls up a seat at the local diner! The remaining 10 kid bakers must create a comfort food dessert imposter -- meatloaf, fried chicken, mac and cheese, and more -- to keep their place at the table.

'Hot' Chocolate

Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman turn up the heat and ask the remaining eight bakers to incorporate chilies, peppers, cayenne and more into their chocolate creations. The kid bakers must balance the heat in their sweets, so that they showcase the flavor without overwhelming the judges' taste buds.

Summer Fun in the Sun

Host Jesse Palmer is all about the outdoors as the bakers take a trip to the Summer Baking Campground to make radical s'more desserts using wild chocolate flavors. Then, Jesse enjoys a bike tour while thinking about the one dessert that is inspired by bike riding -- the Paris-Brest! The bakers must use fresh-pressed juice in their summery Paris-Brest, or judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Damaris Phillips will send them riding off into the sunset.
