Beach Day

Host Jesse Palmer is ready to feel the sand beneath his toes and smell the ocean because today is beach day! He tasks the bakers with capturing that coastal vibe by serving up beach drink trifles! Then when the sun starts to get too hot, the bakers try to avoid a scorching elimination by serving judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Damaris Phillips refreshing summer cream pies.

Summer Feelings

Summer movies are the best, and host Jesse Palmer uses Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2 as inspiration for the bakers to design core summer travel memory desserts inspired by the core memories that help make people who they are. After bringing their emotions to life, the bakers create emotion cakes so that judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Damaris Phillips can experience ALL the feelings before deciding whose cake doesn't bring joy.

Shark Week Sweets

For the semi-finals, host Jesse Palmer celebrates Discovery's Shark Week by challenging the bakers to make shark bite cookie bars in the shape of beach-inspired items like surfboards, flip flops or sunglasses. Then, the bakers bravely protect their sweets from the majestic Great White by making shark cage desserts, but their bakes can't protect them from the probing critiques of judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Damaris Phillips as they vie to make it into the finale.

Big Apple Fireworks

After traveling all over, host Jesse Palmer lands in the Big Apple for some finale fireworks! Everything is decked out in red, white and blue for his 4th of July backyard barbecue, so the bakers must create red, white and "woo-hoo" desserts using summer favorites like strawberries, blueberries and white peaches. Then, judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Damaris Phillips get blown away by 4th of July exploding fireworks cakes as they decide which baker will be crowned Summer Baking Champion and awarded $25,000!

Color Me Wow!

In an ode to the outrageous psychedelic colors of tie-dye, Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman head back to the 1960s and ask the remaining nine kid bakers to "color them wow" with mind-blowing tie-dye cakes.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

John Henson has a problem in the haunted Paranormal Research Lab, and he's hoping to summon the spirit of Beetlejuice to help broker a deal with the other spirits. To butter up the ghost with the most, John asks the bakers to make black and white desserts using black and white ingredients. Then, John challenges the bakers to create Shrinker desserts that feature a tiny desert on top and large dessert on the bottom. In the end, judges Carla Hall, Zac Young and Stephanie Boswell banish one baker to the cyro-chamber.

I Lava Volcano

Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman task the 11 remaining kid bakers with creating volcano Bundt cakes that spew smoke and edible boulders. The red-hot challenge will test these amazing bakers to their fiery core!

Pet Shop Joys

Cute little pets serve as the inspiration for incredible sweets when the last five kid bakers standing must create a dessert inspired by the animal they are paired with: guinea pig, turtle, rabbit, mini pig or silkie chicken.

Re-Gifting

Re-gifting is the theme of the week, as the four remaining bakers must make a candy apple dessert inspired by a candy apple gift, then figure out how turn the contents of a traditional gift basket into a delicious dessert

Holiday Hoopla

The last three bakers must show off their decorating chops in order to finally be crowned Holiday Baking Champion! First, they must bake and beautifully decorate a sugar cookie tree. Then, in the final heat, the bakers need to transform their assigned holiday tradition into an intricately decorated cake.
