Dessert of the Dead

In this round, the judges must make a dessert using Day of the Dead cookies, a Boo-nilla milkshake, chocolate-covered bugs and a watermelon brain. As soon as the competition starts, Geoffrey nearly knocks the watermelon off of the table. "Geoffrey, you almost lost your brain!" Ted jokes.

I Scream Sandwich

"I'm pretty excited about it," Alex says of her plan to make an ice cream sandwich. She bakes a shortbread with some of the decorated cookies, adds the watermelon ice cream on top and covers it in a black pepper sauce. 

All Play and No Work

Geoffrey decides to make brain (watermelon) frozen yogurt with the chocolate-covered bugs and Boo-nilla shake. "This is so good it's, like, sick," he says, taking a taste of it right out of the machine. When Chris tells Geoffrey that he's making a cake, Geoffrey scoffs: "You're making a cake? That's too much work."

Boo-zy Bites

Chris' chocolate and bacon cake with bourbon sauce impresses Alex. "Great choices!" she says. They're all concerned, however, with Geoffrey's simple dish. "Your yogurt really does taste good with the watermelon slice that you so carefully, meticulously carved," Ted jokes to Geoffrey. "I'm sorry you guys had to work 30 minutes and I had to work five," Geoffrey replies.

The Chopper Gets Chopped

"I think I have another way of describing this dish," Alex says of Geoffrey's phoned-in dessert. She lifts the cloche as if to chop him and everyone has a good laugh. Ted then makes Geoffrey the first judge ever to get Chopped on After Hours.
