Nikki, Joshy and Kenzie look all too comfortable in their new roles as Chopped Junior judges.

Judges-turned-Junior-competitors Amanda, Marcus, Alex and Chris (not pictured) let loose for this unique table-turning competition.

Amanda makes friends with the jib camera as it comes in for a close-up of her appetizer.

These former judges can't believe they're getting critiqued by some really articulate kid judges.

Alex isn't too pleased with her entree basket ingredients.

In the dessert round, Amanda has a little too much fun with the basket's pigs' ears.

Kid judge Kenzie comforts Amanda after she's been chopped.

Chris is super-psyched to be leaving as a Chopped Junior champion, earning $10,000 for charity and a chefs' jacket.

The Junior contestants try out the judges' table to see how it feels.

Joshy can't grate onions without his trusty onion goggles.

Even the judges sport onion goggles to show their support for Joshy. And Ted just wears his usual eyeglasses.

Sophia helps Kiara open a can of crescent dough during the entree round.

Ted comforts Kiara after she learns she's been chopped.

Joshy tries on his official Chopped Junior chef's coat after becoming champion.

Ryan, Sophie, Kenzie and Jacob mark the slate before shooting begins.

Ted, Sophie and Ryan strike a pose just before Ted calls the start of the appetizer round.

While bending down under his workstation to get some components, Ryan smiles for the camera.

Kenzie leaves a champion and gets an official Chopped Junior chef jacket to prove it.

Tyler, Nikki, Olivia and Arjun clap the slate to mark the beginning of the appetizer round.

Tyler tastes the vinaigrette he's made out of the basket's pickle juice pops.

Ted helps Nikki by cutting open her pickle juice pops.

Olivia needs help reaching a yellow bowl that's placed too high for her, and she calls in Ted.

When there's a jar that needs opening, Ted's always available. He helps Nikki with her jar of shallot marmalade, an entree basket ingredient.

Nikki and Olivia high-five after finishing a successful burger-themed entree round.

Ted's more than happy to provide a quick tutorial on how to set up a stand mixer, which Nikki wants to use for her dessert.

Olivia's a pro when it comes to tempering her egg yolks in creating the custard base for both her ice cream and French toast.

After the judges announce Olivia has been chopped, Nikki comforts her fellow competitor.
