BBQ Meatball Subs
This is one of Ree’s 16-minute meals, so it contains lots of shortcuts. The meatballs are sausage meat, the flavor comes from Ree’s favorite store-bought BBQ sauce, and it is all cooked in the same pan.
Broiled Salmon with Miso Soup
This easy weeknight recipe of soy-marinated broiled salmon, quick-pickled sweet-sour cucumbers, miso soup and rice is inspired by Teishoku, Japanese set meals that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Since preparing a meal with so many elements can be time-consuming, we aimed to develop a basic but satisfying version that can be put together from (almost) scratch with a minimum of ingredients in under 40 minutes.
Juicy Loaf Pan Chicken
Packed tightly into a standard loaf pan, marinated boneless chicken thighs melt together into a juicy, sliceable slab that’s perfect for piling onto a grain bowl, stuffing into wraps or eating straight off the cutting board. A lemony, yogurt-based marinade keeps the chicken tangy and lush, while a final broil delivers crispy, charred edges that make this weeknight-friendly dish feel a little more impressive than it needs to be. It’s also ideal for meal prep; just slice it up and stash it in the fridge.
