Fall has unofficially begun! While the season of flannel, colorful leaves and apple picking doesn’t technically start until September 22, the return of Starbucks’ beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte tomorrow (August 24) means that a new season is just around the corner.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte debuted in 2003 and is now available in all Starbucks stores across the U.S. and Canada for the eighteenth year in a row. Also joining the celebrated PSL is the newer (but also loved) Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, which launched in 2018. Both drinks will be available for a limited time — usually until you start to get a hankering for a Gingerbread Latte instead.

Last year the Pumpkin Spice Latte made its triumphant return on August 25, and in 2019 customers went PSL crazy beginning on August 27.

Since Starbucks knows just how much people love pumpkin, the coffee chain is also bringing back its Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and Pumpkin Scone. These seasonal baked goods will now join the Pumpkin Loaf, which is available year-around in the U.S.

For those who might need a refresher on all of this pumpkin goodness, the Pumpkin Spice Latte combines Starbucks’ signature espresso and steamed milk with the tasty flavor combination of real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. The beverage, which can be served hot or iced, is then topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices.

The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, on the other hand, is crafted with Starbucks Cold Brew, sweetened with vanilla-flavored syrup, topped with a pumpkin cream cold foam made with real pumpkin, and dusted with a pumpkin spice topping.

As far as the baked goods go, the Pumpkin Scone is topped with sweet icing, while the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin boasts a sweet cream cheese filling and a sprinkling of chopped, spiced pepitas.

For pumpkin fans who love to bring a bit of that PSL magic home (yes please!) the coffee giant sells Pumpkin Spice Flavored Non-Dairy Creamer, Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Concentrate and more. These items can be purchased online or at your local supermarket.

And last but certainly not least, to test customers’ love of all things pumpkin, Starbucks has launched its new Pumpkin Love O’ Meter — a digital pumpkin personality quiz that invites people to find out just how much of a pumpkin lover they really are. Take the quiz here and see where you fall.

Will you be ordering a PSL ASAP?
