The cult-favorite drink is returning to Starbucks earlier than ever.

On Sunday, Starbucks dropped a post in the Leaf Rakers Society, a Starbucks-hosted Facebook group described as a “safe place” for serious fall fans and the Pumpkin Spice Latte-obsessed, teasing a “cryptic post” that would “wake up fall from its long slumber.”
At midnight, a “secret number” was subsequently revealed. But contrary to what many fans believed would be a puzzle revealing the date of the beloved PSL’s return, the brand shared the number to… a hot line.
Upon dialing 1-833-GET-FALL, callers are taken to a directory with eight fall-flavored options: “Dial 1 to head out on a hayride. Dial 2 to practice your pumpkin mantras. Dial 3 to cozy up with your cup…” And so on. (Option 4 is hilarious, by the way).

Sadly, however, even after shuffling through all our favorite sounds of the season, a definitive PSL return date was nowhere in earshot.
But this morning, PSL fans, we come bearing great news: It’s BAAAAAACK!
Yes, the pumpkin-spiced drink has finally arrived – and it's back earlier than ever. Last year, the drink dropped on August 27, but this year, it’s here two days sooner to get a head-start on the fall festivities.

In addition to the classic hot beverage, Starbucks is bringing back its Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, ideal for those still sweltering in the late summer heat, as well as its Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and Pumpkin Scone.
And if you’re just not that into pumpkin? You can still get the fall feels with a Salted Caramel Mocha (also available in Frapp form), another seasonal favorite that combines mocha sauce, toffee nut syrup and coffee.
