Fall is synonymous with leaves falling and cooling temperatures. Kids return to school, and a new TV season begins. And we begin to see the flavors of fall crop up just about everywhere.
For years, Starbucks has marked the changing season with its never-going-away Pumpkin Spice Latte, which will make its annual return to store menus on Thursday, August 22. However, this time it’ll be coming with a new friend: the new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai.
Apple and pumpkin are synonymous with fall, in everything from seasonal decorations to desserts and dishes galore. And as much as we’re seeking recipes for apple pie and applesauce, we just may be looking for a morning beverage to add to the mix.

The Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai is the latest beverage to appeal to non-dairy Starbucks lovers as this apple-centric drink is chai combined with apple and oatmilk. But there’s even more apple: the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato will be returning to menus as well. There’s also a Baked Apple Croissant to enjoy with your drinks.

Pumpkin lovers will still get their fill, as along with the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte (now in its twenty-first year on the menu), there will also be the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. On the food front, there’s a Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and Pumpkin Loaf.
Enjoy it while you can, holiday red cups will be here before you know it.
