We love all things from the Instant Pot brand, whether it's a classic multi cooker or versatile air fryer. So, when we got to test the Instant Ace cooking blender, we were pretty excited. High-speed blenders are already kitchen workhorses, but this one can actually cook. From velvety soups to indulgent desserts, this blender does almost everything.
Like the Instant Pot, the Instant Ace blender is all about pre-programmed settings. This blender has ten Smart One-Touch programs, so you can make smoothies, hot soups, frozen drinks, dips, nut butters, nut milks and more at the touch of a button.
This gadget is perfect for anyone who wants to take their blending skills to the next level. It can do everything you'd want a high-speed blender to do (like make frozen margaritas and soup), but it gives you versatility for more advanced projects, like homemade nut milks and butters.
If you're making soups or purees (hello, homemade baby food!), you can add fresh veggies, broth, meat, noodles and more. The Ace Plus boils and stirs so everything cooks perfectly, and you can select whether you want Creamy or Chunky soup. The Creamy setting will blend the soup as it cooks, while the Chunky option will give it an occasional stir.
We put the Creamy Soup function to the test in our kitchen, and in about half an hour, the soup was velvety smooth and ready to eat. We also tested the Nut Milk feature. After soaking raw almonds overnight, we blended with water, sugar and vanilla extract. The end result was impressively creamy and blended in under five minutes. The nut milk needed to be strained, but the Instant Ace Plus comes with a machine-washable strainer bag for easy filtering.
For our final test kitchen project, we made homemade ice cream in the Instant Ace Plus. We made a healthy "nice cream" by blending frozen berries with heavy cream (this took about a minute and a half), then freezing until it was ready to eat.
