Trader Joe's Fall Groceries Are Simply the Best
These are our top 10 limited-edition product picks of the season.
Between my birthday approaching, the weather finally cooling down and the leaves making their transition to orange and yellow, I don’t exactly need another reason to love fall. But Trader Joe’s has given me an extra excuse to embrace this change of season with glee. I’m no stranger to the grocer’s array of seasonal products, so I feel I can say with (potentially biased) certainty that Trader Joe’s limited-edition items are at their best in fall.
While flavors this time of year tend to be reduced to pumpkin, don’t expect everything on this list to be pumpkin spice (though, there is some of that) — I’ve found that some of my favorite pumpkin-flavored items lean more toward savory than sweet. There are so many fall items I have yet to get my hands on (Muraski Sweet Potato Chips and the Pumpkin Brioche are calling my name!). Here are the top 10 fall products that I will be stockpiling all season!
Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese
I grabbed this seasonal mac and cheese from the freezer aisle, planning to keep it on-hand until I ran out of perishable groceries. But, one night in, I simply couldn’t resist. Reminiscent of a Food Network staffer’s fall mac and cheese hack, this dish is extra creamy thanks to the addition of butternut squash. Plus, the additional flavor cuts back on some of the richness of traditional mac and cheese, making this a dish I will be eating all season long.
Spicy Pumpkin Curry Simmer Sauce

Trader Joe's
To say I’m obsessed with this sauce would be an understatement. I’ve written about my love for Trader Joe’s Thai Green Curry Simmer Sauce in the past, but this seasonal item certainly takes its place this fall. I like to mix it with sautéed veggies and chicken and serve over rice for a hearty and flavor-packed dinner.
Pumpkin Bread Mix
If there is one thing that goes quickly in my apartment, it’s a loaf of pumpkin bread (especially when some chocolate chips are involved!). This mix simply requires two eggs, vegetable oil and water, making it a breeze to bake and a no-brainer when you’re craving something sweet this season.
Harvest Blend Herbal Tea
This tea ranks high on my favorites list, and is something I make sure to buy enough of to last me through winter. The Harvest Blend is the perfect combination of cinnamon, ginger, hibiscus, chamomile, roasted chicory, orange peel and apple, creating the comforting and delicious flavors of fall in a cup.
Pepita Salsa
This salsa, which is actually available year-round, highlights the part of a pumpkin sometimes overlooked: the seeds. I love to dip anything from carrots to chips in it, as the combination of pepitas, tomatoes, chipotle spices and pureed bell pepper compliment almost anything.
Cinnamon Bun Cookies
The indulgence of cinnamon buns becomes much more snackable with these soft-baked cookie sandwiches. The cinnamon and brown sugar cookies are held together with a cinnamon bun flavored cream filling. Take it from me, you’re going to want to grab a box (or two!).
Fall Zucchette Pasta
This pasta isn’t special just because it’s shaped like a pumpkin, the seasonal noodles get their orange hue from the addition of paprika. Pair with any sauce, or go full fall with the Autumnal Harvest Creamy sauce.
Apple Cider Donuts
This quintessential fall treat is just as satisfying from Trader Joe’s as it is from your local apple orchard. Whether you love donuts in the morning, as an afternoon treat or dessert, you’re going to want to bring a box of these home with you this season.
Organic Pumpkin Spice Granola Bark
Coated in a layer of chocolate, this bark feels like you're snacking on a granola bar with a sweet treat added in. We recommend eating this for breakfast, as an after dinner treat or anything in between.
Honeycrisp Apple Candle
Fill your home with the best smells of the season with this fresh apple scent. It’ll have you thinking you’re out picking apples even if you’re stuck inside.
