You know Bobby Flay to be a passionate and expert chef, capable of cooking literally anything with tremendous skill. But sometimes, he prefers to be the one dining, not the chef in the kitchen throwing down on the stove. For those nights, he’s got a hit list of go-to spots in his hometown of New York City, those places he has been visiting forever and knows well. Also, did you know Bobby has a daughter, Sophie? On their upcoming new series, which kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 10:30|9:30c, Bobby and Sophie will team up to show each other their favorite restaurants serving six iconic dishes: fried chicken, pizza, tacos, steak, lobster rolls and burgers. This father-daughter duo has a shared love of restaurants specializing in good food and good times, but beyond that, they have their faves. On The Flay List, Bobby and Sophie will introduce each other to these tried-and-true eateries, and in each episode, fans will join them as they make their way around the city, trying bites from each other’s picks. And in true Bobby Flay fashion, yes, there will be ice cream stops along the way. Count on that!
