I'm Sicilian, which makes me both fiery and romantic. This cocktail is a perfect expression of those two qualities. It also works really well drizzled over a bowl of vanilla ice cream.



  1. Combine the vodka, Averna, and syrup in a drink dispenser of your choice. Pour individual servings into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously until chilled. Strain into martini glasses and serve garnished with a cherry.
