There are fewer things more delicious than a really good sandwich, but it's a meal that tastes even better when it comes from the culinary minds of some creative kids at Make-A-Wish Foundation. And when you add Nature's Own, America's No. 1 sandwich bread brand, to the mix? Well, it's simply a dream come true.

Nature's Own has teamed up with Make-A-Wish to roll out a digital cookbook featuring sandwich recipes that come from kids dealing with critical illnesses. Not only does the project help raise awareness and donations, but it also offers a creative way to try new foods, especially recipes your kids will love.

"Nature's Own is bringing wish kids' imaginations to life with 'Sandwishes' that anyone can share, recreate and enjoy," said Krystle Farlow, senior director of brand management for Nature's Own. "These recipes are not only a window into Make-A-Wish kids' imaginations, but also a perfect way for parents to better understand what their own children may enjoy."

Recipes include a twist on a classic with Nash's Swiss Thunder Herowich, which elevates a basic ham-and-cheese sandwich with the sweet, fresh crunch of apple. Even picky eaters may find it hard to resist Lila's Green Garden Glowwich, made with pesto and avocado, or Eliana's Banana Boost Super Swirl, which combines bananas, strawberries and creamy hazelnut spread. As always, when made with Nature's Own bread, these sandwiches contain no high-fructose corn syrup or artificial preservatives, colors or flavors.
