1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup caramel sauce or dulce de leche 

1 store-bought or homemade double-crust apple or cherry pie 

Ground cinnamon, for serving, optional 


  1. Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer with a whisk attachment, beat together the heavy cream with the caramel until soft peaks form. Pile the whipped cream on top of the pie and use an offset spatula to spread it. Serve dusted with cinnamon, if desired.
