Sweet and Sour Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

1/3 cup cider vinegar

1/4 cup sugar

1 cup tomato sauce

1 tablespoon flour

1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Salt, to taste

2 scallions, minced

1 tablespoon fresh coriander, minced

Directions

  1. In a saucepan combine vinegar, sugar, tomato sauce, flour, red pepper and salt. Bring mixture to a boil. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Transfer to a bowl and stir in scallion and coriander.
