It's the season finale, and the last five bakers face three challenges. Christmas Eve is filled with so much excitement and so many gifts, and the sweetest gift of all is a plate of cookies for Santa. For the final preheat, host Jesse Palmer wants the bakers to upgrade those cookies by making macaron wreaths for judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Nancy Fuller! The bottom two bakers battle it out to see who makes it to the final main heat by taking on a stocking-stuffed eclairs challenge. Then, its “All aboard!” as the remaining four bakers make showstopping, championship-worthy holiday train cakes with actual trains running through them! In the end, a Holiday Baking Champion is crowned and takes home $25,000!
Ted's in charge! Four chefs learn that Chopped's illustrious host has been given more power than ever for their competition. Along with his usual leading role, he has designed the baskets and will -- finally! -- get to taste and critique the food. For the appetizer round, Ted challenges the chefs with a wildly unusual product in a tube and his favorite snack of all time. Curry and crab are Ted's choice for two of the mandatory entrée round ingredients, and the final basket includes an exotic extract and an Italian dessert that Ted can never pass up.
America's favorite pastime comes to Flavortown when Guy Fieri invites three former Major League Baseball players to team up with GGG all-star judges in hopes of hitting a culinary home run. First, the teams try not to make an error while shopping blindfolded for their favorite carb-load dish. In the final inning, Guy has the two remaining teams step up for a little batting practice to pick out key ingredients for their gourmet ballpark food. Ultimately, one team will knock it out of Flavortown Park and earn a whopping $20,000 for charity.
It's the finale of Guy Fieri's wild tournament as the two highest-scoring all-star teams face off in the ultimate relay rumble. The first chefs on each team are given $40 to make a high-end dinner on a budget, and the second chefs must shop for a dessert with whatever money is left over. The final chefs do their best to complete the dishes their teammates started and present them to the judges. The winning team receives the Relay Rumble Championship trophies and the $60,000 grand prize!
The winners of the first three rounds of the Triple G Impossible Tournament compete to take on Robert Irvine once more in the finale. First, the chefs must use the "impossible" items on Guy Fieri's grocery list to make a decadent sandwich. Next, the remaining two chefs must make a hearty family dinner using only frozen and canned ingredients. The last chef standing wins another $10,000 and a shot at more money and the title of champion, but only if they can make a more unforgettable dish than all-star chef Robert Irvine.
It's a very merry Fieri holiday when Guy Fieri's two sons, Hunter and Ryder, and his nephew, Jules, face off in Flavortown. First, Guy pairs each family member with their very own All-Star chef partner, but he also gives each team a Secret Santa box full of weird ingredients that they must use in their holiday cooking. After serving their favorite holiday appetizer, the teams shop for a memorable family meal using elf-sized sleighs instead of carts. Guy keeps it all in the family by having his parents and wife, Lori, judge the dishes. Ultimately, the winning Next-Gen Fieri earns money for charity and a very special holiday surprise.
Off the couch and into the fire! Four lucky superfans get the chance of a lifetime to compete in the Chopped kitchen! It's all high fives and optimism at the start, but these gung-ho home cooks will have to make delicious dishes while the clock counts down and the judges look on. In the first round, the pressure mounts as the competitors realize just how difficult a challenge they're facing. In the second round, a giant gummy creature and an intimidating piece of protein lurks in the basket. Then in the third round, the judges hope the finalists will use two tricky ingredients judiciously.
Making amazing meals out of absolutely anything is this competition's modus operandi, so leftovers is an all-time favorite Chopped theme. In the appetizer round, everyone is excited to show they have what it takes to repurpose foods that might have otherwise been tossed out, and the judges are in for four interesting takes on the first basket. In the entrée round, the chefs attempt to impress the judges using a variety of tools and techniques. The two finalists open the dessert basket to find a single slice of birthday cake, but only one chef will be left celebrating at the end of this leftovers battle.
