Ali Rosen is the host of the Emmy-nominated Potluck with Ali Rosen on NYC Life and the author of the cookbook Bring It!: Tried and True Recipes for Potlucks and Casual Entertaining. She has been featured on shows such as The Today Show, Dr Oz, and NPR's All Things Considered and has written for publications including The Washington Post, Bon Appetit and New York Magazine. She was nominated for an Emmy, two IACP awards, was a Forbes 30 Under 30, and Thrillist said Ali had one of the coolest jobs in food (she agrees). She is originally from Charleston, SC but now lives in New York City with her husband Daniel, three kids Guy, Joy and Rae and rescue pup Phoebe.

Jeff's heading to the Palace Grill to get the scoop on a couple of classics from his friend George. You better believe gooey grilled cheese is on the menu, and Jeff takes some of that inspiration home and does it one better with his grilled cheese two ways. Next up, that most famous of all comfort foods, meatloaf! But the Sandwich King pairs his meatloaf with crispy onions and slips it onto a soft potato roll. All this meal needs is a warm bowl of roasted tomato soup. Pass the remote!
It's down to the final four recruits, so Anne Burrell and Jeff Mauro test all their skills by challenging them to create a composed dish using ingredients in specially curated meal kits. The two recruits with the best dishes continue on to the final cook. Later, Anne and Jeff teach their recruits a three-course, restaurant-quality meal, and the finalists must put all their newfound skills to work in order to impress a panel of culinary experts, despite a huge twist thrown at them by a surprise special guest. Judges Chris Scott, Christian Petroni and Hawa Hassan taste the recruits' dishes in a blind taste test and determine the winner of the $25,000 prize.
Everybody is spinning with excitement for the highly anticipated battle five fight! The three remaining chefs from the pool finally get to cook against the reigning champion, and the already astronomical jackpot is destined to go higher. Upon opening the appetizer basket, the chefs come face-to-face with an intimidating ingredient. In the entrée round, the chefs are shocked at the dollar value of the ingredient from the wheel, and they must tame one of the most bitter ingredients in Chopped history. After the final two contenders discover a giant sweet surprise in the dessert basket, they frantically stir, blend and bake their hearts out in an effort to emerge as the one and only Spin It to Win It grand champion!
Let's hear it for fan participation! Chopped viewers finally get their chance to weigh in on a weighty question: What should go into the mystery baskets? In the first round of this special competition, the chefs must figure out how to make the fans proud by cooking a dish made with a favorite regional meat product. Then for the entrée round, the viewers have chosen a jarred ingredient that few professional chefs are likely to like. Will one chef's ambitious plans backfire as the clock runs out? Then, while trying to figure out how to combine black licorice root with a salty snack food, one of the final two chefs uses a clever time-saving technique in the dessert round.
