The Hungry Detective’s investigation also leads him to another D.C. signature dish, crab cakes, at Hank’s Oyster Bar. Along the way his investigation also turns up legendary chili at a D.C. landmark known as Ben’s Chili Bowl, succulent shrimp dishes on the waterfront at Cantina Marina, and empanadas stuffed with unique ingredients at Julia’s Empanadas.

Guy Fieri's family loves cooking at home and great restaurant food, so they're combining the best of both worlds by firing up takeout with a twist. On this menu, there's tandoori chicken poutine from Maneet Chauhan, Christian Petroni's famous polenta flavor bomb, arancini and empanadas from Antonia Lofaso, fried chicken and waffles with a spin from Marcus Samuelsson and Michael Voltaggio's crab-cake crepes and caviar.

A number of quaint beach towns along the South Carolina coast are leading a revolution in Lowcountry cuisine, and Katie Lee finds the best beach bites in Sullivan's Island, Mt. Pleasant, Isle of Palms and Folly Beach. She starts at a hot spot that's elevating the classic Lowcountry boil by turning it into chowder. She also discovers a restaurant that lures skeptics in with typical beach fare and flips the script with perfect Korean cuisine. A breakfast pit stop converts Katie into a devotee after she samples crab cakes eggs Benedict and banana bread French toast. And it's not a visit to the Lowcountry without fresh shrimp, fried chicken, a cocktail and some gelato!
