Longtime fans, rejoice: Jeffrey Garten, Ina's husband of nearly 60 years, will open up about their life together on Be My Guest Season 9 — and nothing is off-limits. The episode premieres Saturday, October 10 at 12|11c on Food Network and streams the next day on HBO Max and discovery+.

After sharing Easy Butternut Squash and Apple Soup, Jeffrey reminisces about his "love at first sight" encounter with Ina, their long-distance relationship challenges and highlights from their six decades together. Jeffrey and Ina first met at Dartmouth College, where he was a student majoring in government and she was visiting her brother. He wrote Ina love letters while he was in college and the military. They were married on December 22, 1968 — Ina was 20, and Jeffrey was 22 — in a snowy winter ceremony.
