Ready Your Wands for Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking Season 3

A new season of the magical fan-favorite series, Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, premieres Wednesday, November 4 at 8|7c on Food Network and HBO Max. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the iconic film series' first film, the new season introduces a tournament twist with four teams of three, each representing one of the four Hogwarts Houses — Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Comprised of returning competitors, each team will feature cake artists, bakers, and pastry chefs who have previously proven their talent and passion for Harry Potter, though none has ever lifted the Wizards of Baking Cup in victory.

Meet Your Ministers of Baking

Also new this season, hosts James and Oliver Phelps are joined by two new “Ministers of Baking,” cake royalty Duff Goldman and celebrated pastry chef Sarah Mountain, who will judge the teams’ showpieces and determine which House will earn the trophy and a once-in-a-lifetime VIP trip to Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter (also known as Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo).

“We’re so excited for all Harry Potter and baking show fans across the world to see this season’s amazing showpieces,” said Oliver. “The all-star teams will leave our audience spellbound.”

James added: “We feel like the luckiest hosts because we get to be part of this fun tournament, with some of the world’s best bakers and chefs, and celebrate the anniversary of the first film in a series that sparked a global phenomenon.”

House Hufflepuff

Priya Winsor, Elizabeth Rowe and Molly Robbins are your resident Hufflepuffs. All three fell just short of the Cup the last time they competed — Priya and Molly were Season 2 runners-up, and Elizabeth, who competed with Juan Gutierrez, was a Season 1 finalist. They're itching for a win and hope their combined skills — and history of competitive baking — can take them to the top this time.

House Ravenclaw

Sorted into Ravenclaw are hyperrealistic cake wizards Caitlin Taylor, Jujhar Mann (who is still looking for his fourth TV bake-show win after Super Mega Cakes) and Kimberly Adams. You can expect towering 3D sculptures from this trio that you won't believe are really cake from these witty, technical Ravenclaws.
